| Artist Info: Jill Andra Young . She has a unique talent for pets that few photographers would normally attempt to do. The response has been great to her work, as she will celebrate 20 years as a pet photographer this year. Photographing 700 to 1000 pets per year, Young has become known as this area’s leading pet photographer. Her subjects range from show champions to family pets – not just dogs and cats but a wide variety of other creatures. Plus she doesn’t stop at just pets; she can photograph your pet with the kids and the family. Young has a BFA in Commercial Photography from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, so she can photograph just about anything, but pets are her passion. Young states, “I feel very strongly that our pets have become important members of our families and that pet lovers wanted and needed a photographer who could capture the personality of their pet. “ |
